Restarted Birth Control & Spotting Posted: 07-19-07 15:15pm
I restarted my birth control a month after
I gave birth to my daughter. At my 6 week
postpartum checkup the doctor prescribed a
low dose birth control b/c I was
breastfeeding at the time. Lately I've
been spotting and been on the birth
control for 3 months now. Could I be
spotting b/c the birth control is low
dose?

Yep, that's a likely cause of spotting.

Yes, and it might have to do with the
breastfeeding too. It should go away
within a few months.

Oh-
if it doesn't go away soon (it should've
cleared up within three months or so) I
would think about switching to something
else.
