What Do You Think? ( Goes Along With My Other Post.)
Posted: 07-19-07 15:18pm

I posted the "I am a bit worried" post with all the facts. But the restate.
I had sex after being on the pill
(Apri, 28 pack, combo, started on Sunday the 8th)
For only 3 days, I am a sunday starter, so I now know the pill would not have been in effect.
My period started the 6th but not with a heavy flow which I count as my first day the 7th, which was saturday.
On tuesday I had unprotected sex, though he did pull out.
I was still on my period, but it had stopped or at least lighted.
The next day it was back in full though.
Well I am not Scheduled to Ovulate til about the 21st,
Yesterday I had sticky mucus, so I am nearing.
After all those facts, I saw it very very low to be pregnant seeing as he pulled out, even though that's not so effective, I was on my period and such and since sperm seems to only live 10 days and I don't ovulate til the 21st.
Well now though I am constantly tired, hungry, and sick.
Is that maybe just from taking the pill?
Because I really have a feeling I am not pregnant, though I am a worry wart, and duh worry.
For anyone who anwsered my other post, I'd love your insight.
Can I just rest? Argh.
Thanks.

If you are on the pill, your "date to ovulate" no longer counts. The pill prevents ovulation; you will not ovulate if you are taking the pill correctly. The sticky mucus you have is not due to ovulation, or it shouldn't be if you're still taking the pills.

Test, please test. That's the only way to know. You had unprotected sex, so you could be pregnant.

Hey Eiri, the only thing is, I haven't missed a period and its only been little over a week since this happend so I wouldn't get clear preg results would I?
And what is the sticky mucus then?
And since I have been taking the pill, yes, regularly, is it safe to have sex now without worrying completely.
Its been a week and a few days now as well?
Annd I take the pill every day at 1, sometimes a few mins before or after 1, does that put in a very bad effect?

It would be best to wait until you actually miss a period to take a test. The sticky mucous you are getting could be because of the pill. You will always have cervical mucous regardless of whether you are taking the pill or not. The pill typically makes you cm more sticky to make a hostile environment for the sperm.

Thanks so much monkey girl.
Also, does the pill give you all the symptoms I posted above?
And its hard to wait to take a test because I am so afraid,
Do you think I might be pregnant? I know there is always a chance, but what do you think my chances are?
I am very worried. Quite a worry wart.

Discharge is common on the pill. You can be up to 6 hours late with the pill with no adverse affect.

I would say that since your period started on the seventh and you took the pill on the eighth, your chances are pretty low. But there is still a chance, and there is no way anyone can tell you for sure until you miss a period and take a test.

Best of luck.
