i thought i would have a long wait, but they took me right in. was it because i'm pregnant? 26 weeks today! only 14 left to go.

i think i have a staph infection. Crying
or Very sad they did a culture sample, a tad bit painful, but not the worst & told me i'd have the results back in one to two days.

despite the sample they took, i'm being treated for a staph infection. i was prescribed a topical ointment for the time being. if it is definitely a staph, then they're going to have to put me on antibiotics, regardless of the risks to the fetus. i've got my fingers crossed it's something less serious.

so yeah, that was my day.

also, i found out medicaid got my social security number wrong in the computer, therefore, i have yet to receive my .H.M.O card. when i went to pick up my antibiotic cream, they said medicaid wasn't covering it. i had to pay full price for it. $98.00! ugh.

Eww that sucks Sad My doctor gave me some meds for my morning sickness, and the lady asked do you have insurance? And i said yeah i do. She said good cause the pills cost 700$ for a 30 supply.. I about died. I guess they use the pills on cancer patents. I was blown away!
