Too Sexual Is a Mood Swing ??? Posted: 07-20-07 03:53am
My hubby is Bipolar. i dont know what type
though. But he was diagnosed with this
since last year August 18 to be exact.
Lately, he has this urge again to download
pornographic movies, continue saying
sexual things to me over the phone even
during office hours. He's been staying at
home for most of the time. Doing his work
at home as he can do remote access. The
thing that bothers me is that he's tooooo
sexual again.
The doctor has changed his medication
since May 15. Technically, he has been
taking this new meds for 2 months. Just
noticed this past few 2 weeks he is too
sexual. I know men are normally like this
but it seems to me he is having this mood
swing again.
This is nothing new to me as he had this
also last year before christmas. His
doctor increased his medication. Just
wondering if I need to talk to his doctor
or what.
What do you think???

Before I was diagnosed with BP, and before
starting on my meds, my sexual drive was
extremely high, luckily, my fiance did
not complain to much, but towards the end
of our relationship, it caused some
problems. I later found out it was a
symptom of BP, in some. Since I have been
on meds, for a few months, my drive has
decreased to I say "normal male" .. I
would suggest having him speak with his
doctor if he is comfortable with it. But I
wouldnt recommend demanding him to do so,
just talk with him nicely, and support
him, im sure he will make the right
decision. I did anyways.
