Periods
Posted: 07-20-07 08:13am

Don't you just hate periods? They are so annoying, I am so glad I'm not going to have them for a while because I just found out I am pregnant but it seems that women get all the bad things like periods, having to shave/wax/pluck to keep men happy, feeling the need to wear makeuop, feeling so self conscious about ourselves, labour pain, pmt, being more emotional whereas men don't get much at all Exclamation

True, you do make some good points.... but I wouldn't rather be a man!

Periods are a pain, so are cramps and pms (I get wicked pms), but we learn to deal.

It's funny we're one of the only species in the animal kingdom where the female is the one to primp (i.e. shave, wear makeup, etc.) to attract the opposite sex. Most other species it's the male who is more colourful and works really hard to attract the female - male peacocks show their colourful feathers, male robins show off their red chest, etc. Other species the males demonstrate acts of strength and fight eachother for the females. It's interesting. Imagine if it was the men who were working so hard to impress us... or maybe they feel like they are.

I must admit it ladies ... I got wicket PMT / PMS at the moment .. and I was the guilty party to 'man slaying' earlier ... but when my hubby brings me flowers, how guilty do I feel then ... you are right tho Anne, we are the only species that do that, but then, men do it too in thier own way, I can never find any hair gel, cos my hubby has used it all Laughing
I hate it when I got PMS, cos it's not me to be health forum at all. Although, I can hold my own if I have to. Twisted Evil Razz

I am slowly learning to truly love being female instead of just being female. I still like to cross dress and to be honest, if I could magically be male... I might take up the offer. I'm not going to purposely get an operation; I am what I am. But to have a penis for a day... lol.

I've always been tomboyish, but I was given a rather small body so unlike other tomboys, once puberty hit I wasn't able to compete with the guys anymore.

most definately ...when they have a cold - they're dying with the Flu and can't move their right arm to turn the telly over !!! And it's the stupid voice they do with it too ... as us girlies just get on with it, cos if we didn't we'd starve....

I totally love being a woman... my boyfriend is like "Wow i cant ever imagine giving birth, or having periods, or anything" He knows that we go through more pain and we are tougher..... Woman are also more calm (most of the time) when things happen to their babies.... Its kind off like we know how to take care of babies and we know how they feel... And guys just dont....

I love being a girl Very
Happy I wold never want to be a guy....

Don't you think Men would be useless women .. they'd have Boobs, and wouldn't do any work cos they'd be playing with them all day !!!
They'd have to learn to put the loo seat down before peeing, and then they'd not get shopping, cos of thier memory (which is like a goldfish)...
they'd have to learn to park badly, and drive sensibly.... and to put up with snoring... bless 'em - I'd rather Men stay as men, and women stay super-woman as they are .... I love being a woman, and I love my man being a man, and I wouldn't want him to change .. well do dinner once n a while would be nice . Laughing
On the flip side, I don't think I'd wanna walk like John Wayne, not even for a day ... Laughing Exclamation Question
