Any one know if those doppler rentals on
the web sites are legit? Do they really
work like the onces in the docs office?
Kinda intereted in getting one, or
renting. Can't afford to buy one lol. But
been interested in it for a couple weeks.
Anyone know much about this? Or if you can
rent one from the doctor office? Thanks

HEy there, they are definate legit. I
rented one from fetalassure.ca...but I
live in canada.
tummytickles rents them and so does
bellybeats.com.
I am not sure how far along you are...but
it has definately been reassuring to me.
Also if you are far along, another option
you can do is buy a cheap
stethescople...they range from like 25$ to
100$ for affordable ones.
This way you can hear the baby and its not
the 600$ doppler.
I am almost 12 weeks and i cannot hear it
with my stethescope and its a cardiology
one...so we rented a doppler.

haha! I dind't know they did that. Now
that's a bit extreme. It might be even
getting a doppler. But it might ease my
mind a bit

i got one at 14 weeks and it really works
great! i still have it but only use it
maybe once every 2 weeks or so. usually if
she has a sleepy day and is less active. i
got mine from heartones (i think that is
how it is spelled..)
i am going to keep it until she is born
too! i was such a worrier and still kind
of am and it really helped to relax me
when i got all freaked out over something.

since you're almost to the point where
you'll feel movement daily (and then
practically constantly) it seems
unnecessary. i'd save my money if i were
you.

I was thinking the same too after i
thought about it last night. lol thanks
I ordered one offline with my 2nd
pregnancy i forget the website it was only
$135, you can hear really good with it,
around 15 wks or so it was easier to find
the heartbeat, it even showed the beats
per minute on it, I still have it. In my
basement. It worked really well and I
loved it. it even came with the gel for it
as well.
