for your own sake it might be, you still have 10 weeks to go! and that's if you don't go over. they'll be a long 10 weeks if you're counting the minutes. my due date is tomorrow and i'm having to work hard not to get all excited about every little ache i get. i just wouldn't want you to waste away the summer being all anxious and impatient. you should try to relax and enjoy it. i know it's hard though.

You might want to calm down because that baby definitely needs to cook a bit longer. Try to stay a little calmer until at least 37 weeks.

thanks for replying.. i know its way too early for the baby to be born and i am doing my best to try to stay calm about it.. like i am waiting until i am closer to the date to start buying the big things like the swing, stroller, etc and i'm even waiting to set up the nursery because i know whenever i go into a store and see baby things i get all excited and can't wait so i don't want to have everything ready just yet and then have to see it every day and get so excited; so i am trying to put things off to not get so excited so early on.

I'm WAY excited, and i'm only 18 weeks lol. I'm really enjoying my pregnancy this time around a lot more than i did at 17 lol. It's nice not to feel scared, and alone

If it helps you any, I am very anxious to get this baby out and see it's beautiful face! I am just past 33 weeks and incredible uncomfortable, hot and swollen, but I know the next 7 weeks will fly by....or so I'm hoping!!!!
I already have the room completely done and everything bought. Just need to set up the stroller and car seat and wash the clothes, but waiting to do that once I start my mat leave from work!
Although it may be hard not to get too excited, you may want to start slowly on setting some things up, as I can only imagine how difficult it may become the closer you get to your due date and you are big and uncomfortable!!!!! Alot changed for me from 30 weeks to now.......I wasn't as uncomfortable at 30 weeks that's for sure!!!! Rolling Eyes
Hang in there though......you're close and it will be due date time soon enough! Good luck! Wink

Thanks everyone for your comments and support. I think what makes it harder for me to have the time go by faster is that i don't work and i am home all day with my son until my boyfriend comes home from work. once he comes home everyday it seems that the day goes by quicker.

I can relate to that one!!! Even though I am still working, I am only working half days, so I am usually home by noon or so, and I have 2 dogs (one is a puppy we just got 4 weeks ago!!!) that need my attention the minute I walk in the door and then I watch them, try and get done some things around the house and after that, pretty much sit there wondering what to do with myself and the time before my husband gets home!!!!!!
I think I need some sort of a hobby!!! LOL Smile But it's been so hot here lately that I don't have any energy to do anything...it's quite pathetic!

I'm just jealous that you have a/c!!!!!! I turned down the portable ones they were selling at the hardware store about 2 weeks ago b/c I thought I wouldn't ned one. Was I ever w-r-o-n-g!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now I can't find one anywhere to save my life! The whole city is sold out - it's crazy!
I sit in my house and sweat all day - it actually makes me feel horrible!
When is your due date? Is it the middle to end of Sept? How are you going to go back to school? That will be tough, but if you can do it, all the power to you girl! Wink Working next month will not be fun...I hope it's a position where you can sit and not have to stand or do much physical activity?! I can't wait to be done work....I have 4 more weeks and I'm thinking htere's no way I can do it! I can't even get comfortable when I drive and shoulder-checking is nearly impossible since this baby has taken up so much room that I can almost no longer turn / twist side to side!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just need to find someone who will come to my house and somehow make it 20 degrees cooler, massage my feet and aching back for an hour or more and get dinner ready. Ahhhhhhh, wouldn't that be nice?! LOL Laughing

lol that would be really nice! Laughing and boy do i feel bad for you not having a/c... you must be dying and u must get drained out so fast because of the heat. my due date is October 2nd; and i think i will be able to handle school because i am only going to take 2 classes this semester so that way it isn't too much on me and when i was pregnant for my son i worked as a CNA up until 1 week before i had him so i think i will be able to handle working just fine because I only work in a bookstore so it's not like it is hard labor... When is your due date? mid-september? what are you having do you know? i am having another boy... i was hoping for a girl this time around but a boy is just fine as long as he's heqalthy thats all i care about Very Happy

My due dat was set at Sept.8th but my early u/s and now my doctor thinks I will be more around Sept.1st - which makes more sense to me with how I calculated it all in the first place!!!! Guess you never know though huh?! Baby will come when s/he is ready!
Another boy...yay!!! I would be happy with 2 boys, but I would really love to have one of each - I guess we all would?!
2 classes sounds good....I thought maybe you were taking a full course load! What are you working towards?
