Penis Smells and Stings After Urinating Posted: 07-22-07 13:29pm
Right I'm new to the site, and I’ve
recently (today) had some worry's about
the possibility of a STI. I have a few
questions I would like answering if
possible.
1st- can I go to a doctors to get an
appointment without a parent or guardian
2nd the things that have been making me
think there is a chance I could have one
is that my penis occasionally stings after
urinating, only occasionally but it can be
quite worrying. secondly my penis has a
unpleasant smell to it occasionally, after
urinating. it doesn't sting at any other
time and it looks perfectly normal. not
red, inflamed, bumpy etc.
3rd is there any checks the doctors would
do… blood test and the such?
I train quite allot which means I take on
a lot of protein... could this be a
cause?
sorry if I’ve been a bit brief just not
sure on how to go about it

I don't think you have an STD, I think you
have a UTI (urinary tract infection).
This is nothing to be ashamed of, and you
should get yourself to a doctor, even if
you have to tell your parents. They have
no reason to be mad at you for this; it
would be like getting angry because you
caught the common cold.
