40 Weeks Today

yay!!! i'm 40 weeks pregnant today. i feel
pretty good aside from all the aches and
pains and feeling like my bladder will
literally explode under the pressure, lol.
i guess i must be used to all of it by
now. hopefully it won't be much longer,
don't want the bun to get overcooked. i'm
going to try to be active today in spite
of all the pain, it seems to get things
rolling when i move around so i'm hoping
we will get on with the real show. enough
previews already, i'm getting the idea,
lol. i'm just so excited!! i can't wait
to be holding my little bub. i just had
to share it with someone since i'm home
alone and it's pretty early still.

oh, just puttering around the house. i
have to go down into the basement to do
laundry. i was afraid to do it before
because the stairs are pretty steep, but
i'm feeling brave. i'll take the phone
with me just in case, lol. i just have an
urge to wash floors and clean stuff. not
going outdoors though, it's way too darn
hot!

I was so hoping that you would go into
labor this weekend! I have heard that if
you keep going up and down stairs it can
put you into labor. Maybe you can try
that while you are doing the laundry.
Me, I am stuck at home and get yelled at
anytime I stand up for longer than 5
minutes

40 weeks today...congrats I bet you were
hoping to go into labor this weekend? Did
your doctor say anything about induction
if you don't go into labor soon?
How are you feeling?
I still have 8.5 weeks to go... I can't
wait and at the same time nervous and
freaking out. I still can't believe the
time has gne by so quickly!
Good luck and let us know what happens!

Sending labor dust to you, Karen! I hope
your little one comes soon. I am glad that
your little one had a chance to cook. I
wonder if we could have avoided problems
if mine didn't decide to come early.
Every time I come on here, I first look to
see if you have gone into labor or had
your baby.
Anytime from now!
Karin

thanks everyone. today just feels special
i guess. my next appointment isn't until
this thursday. no idea if I'll still be
waiting or not. the unpredictability of
it is what drives me bonkers. i just keep
reminding myself to trust that the baby
and my body will decide when the best time
is. I hope.
Karin, you're so sweet. How is your
little guy doing? I'm always thinking
about you guys, hope everythings going
well.

*whimper*
I guess it's okay to whine and vent a
little on my own thread here. Its 3 am
and I caaaaaaaaaaan't sleep. I've
resorted to begging this baby to please
come out now and have gone around the
house "showing" it all the cool stuff just
waiting for it when it comes home from the
hospital, lol. "Lookit this nice swing
baby! don't you wanna try it out? It even
plays music!" I
even went so far as to retain the
"services" of my poor Ritchie earlier
tonight. Now he is sleeping soundly and
i'm sitting here twiddling my thumbs. I
guess it worked for him anyway. He seems
pretty happy! Anyway, it's just super hot
here and i can't get comfortable unless
i'm sat right in front of the a/c unit,
which happens to be right by this computer
here. By morning time, when Rich gets up
to leave, I'll be so exhausted that I can
get a few hours of sleep in. Until then I
have to entertain myself reading about
Lindsay Lohan's latest arrest and checking
this forum for other insomniac ravings
that i can respond to.
