I don't know about the sharp pain, but I have had it before too, so I just stopped having sex. But if you're concerned I'd talk to your midwife or doc, see what they think. I also felt really sick, plus its now near impossible to find a decent position cos my bump is so big now, it made sense to just give it up! Unless I go overdue, then I will be borrowing my boyfriends services. I'm sure he won't complain. lol!

As for the discharge, I know an increase is normal, but I know what you mean, cos I have so much its unreal, and I've been checked for infections etc', nothing! So I'm assuming the ammount I'm having is normal, again if you're concerned probably best to talk to your midwife cos it could be an infection or something.

i don't know how far along you are but i know the discharge increases as you get closer to your due date. it could also be mucus from your mucous plug. i've read and heard from everywhere that it would be tinged with brown or pink, but mine never has. it's always been clear or slightly yellowish. I've also had pains in my cervix just at random moments. we haven't been having much sex at all lately so i wouldn't attribute it to that for myself. if you've been checked for uti and all that then i don't know, maybe just another discomfort of pregnancy.

lol @ borrowing his services. i told rich yesterday that i might need him to help me have the baby later tonight. he looked puzzled and asked how could he help me have the baby and i said "the same way you made the baby". lol. then by the time bedtime rolled around we were both too hot and tired so we just went to sleep.
