Baby's Room Pic's
Posted: 07-23-07 19:32pm

Sorry girls....I said that I would post some pic's of the room when I got it all done, and although you can't see it all too well, you can tell that I now have the pictures and all the words up on the walls. I also have a little shelving unit and 2 wall shelves hung in another corner which I didn't take a picture of!
Someone asked me to take one of the inside of the crib with the bedding, but I can't remeber who....sorry it's so late! I bought a matching piggy bank and blanket the other day that's chocolate brown with lage green poks dots that I now have draped over the crib and on the dresser, but of course I took these before!
Hope you can see it all...............enjoy! Wink

Don't worry - I know all about using the bumper pads and when to take them out, problems, etc......... everyone I know has used them (as it seems all the sets these days come with them!) and has had no complications or problems - you can see that I bought the padding for around baby's waist so s/he can't roll over into the bumper pads!!!

I love the room! I wish I could set up a room but we are living in our house temporarily and I don't want to get too settled because I want out before Christmas.

I absolutely adore the letters on the wall.

Oh, and I just had a weird premonition that you are having a boy. Sorry, but I guess my gypsy heritage is poking through Smile My premonitions are rarely wrong too.

your room looks so peaceful. i love it, to be completely honest. i think it's organized looking, so clean & put together, and pretty simple, too.

you did a fantastic job!

Thanks Girls!!!!!
I thought for soooo long that I was having a boy, but now I'm just not that sure anymore....but hopefully I will be able to tell you all soon!!!!!!!

Sweet - I got the bedding set from Toys R'Us - more expensive than what i wanted to pay, but my Mom bought it for me as a present!!!! Thanks god for Mom's!!! Wink

I didn't want the nursery to be too "busy" and cluttered, so I tried to make it all work and fit as best I could! I like things organized and matching - so I'm glad that you commented on that - makes me happy and proud!
Now all I need is for my precious baby to come and put him / her in there!!!!!!

I sneak a peak each day at the room and can't wait until I open the door one day soon and see my little baby sleeping in there....ahhhh, getting so excited and nervous now!!!! I will be 34 weeks tomorrow - it's coming soon! Wink

I am 34.2 weeks today, so techanically less than 6 weeks now unless baby comes early, or late?!?! Yes, this is my first little one and we are very very excited!
We actually just finished our Pre-Natal calsses today - did it over the entire weekend....long, but informtaive, so I'm glad we registered for them!!!
Yes, I will post some belly pics probably at the end of the week, so you can then see my 35 week belly! Wink

Thanks J - but now what so I do with myself for 3 weeks when I am finished working next week?!!!! Everyone says to relax and enjoy the quite time, which I will, but still - I'll be going from Mach 10, to doing nothing. Unfortunatley, all of my friends work and I have no family here where I live Sad
I guess I'll be taking my dogs for alot of walks and buying some good books?! I've got maybe a couple of days worth of cleaning and doing baby's laundry, but that's about it!!!! Rolling Eyes

Hmmmm, how am I feeling lately?! Well, I guess most of it depends on how hot it is that day!!! LOL Laughing Yesterday and today were nice, and it was cooler, so I was ALOT happier. Not as swollen and could move around a bit easier!
With each passing day though, it's getting harder to move, bending over is almost impossible now b/c I feel like i am totally squashing my baby, and there's just no room left for him/her in there. Seems impossible that I am still going to grow and make it through another 5 weeks Rolling Eyes at this point!
I really pray hard each day that this baby does not come late and that I don't have to endure a crazy 36hr labour or something ridiculous like that!!!!!
I am starting to get my "clean freak" lady symptoms now and I actually hired a maid today to come in and do some spring cleaning for me in 2 weeks and then I am hiring her on a weekly basis to clean my house until I feel well enough and my body does not hurt so much after bbay comes, until I can do it myself again! See what happens when the Hubby decides to be mean and not help me out with the housework??? Now he has to pay for someone to clean for me, and I don't mind it one single bit! No guilty feelings on my part at the moment!!!!! Wink
