I just wanna ask if someone has had
complications from fried food, affecting
the blood sugar?

Eating High Fat And Diabetes Posted: 10-12-07 13:45pm
On my old plan, fried foods and high fat
in general seemed to stabilize my blood
sugars. Now that I'm on tight control and
taking less insulin, I have to limit my
fat to keep fasting sugars normal. One
specific situation I remember, one lunch
with fried sqaush....1pm BG-120, 3pm
BG-100, 5pm BG-200. Eating mod. to low
fat, my afternoon sugars tend to be more
stable than morning or evening.

Fried foods won't increase your blood
sugar much because there aren't many
carbohydrates in them. They're not
healthy to eat however, and they will make
you gain weight more than other types of
food.
