Baby's First Meal/4 Month Check Up Posted: 07-24-07 09:49am
We went to the ped yesterday. Jaylon is
14.8 pounds 25.5 inches long. The doc
said we could feed him anything that we
eat as long as it could be mashed up to a
consistency he could handle (like runny
honey). Obviously he can't eat peanut
butter, berries, seafood, or honey.
We have been dying to give him food, but
really wanted to do so when the doc said
it was ok.
We opted for rice cereal with apple juice
as the mixer. He absolutely loved it!
Tonight will be bananas. I can hardly
wait.
The picture quality sucks...sorry about
that.
These are from camping over the weekend.
I still can't manage to get a tooth shot.
Not for lack of trying.

spoon in the second one.

Thanks a lot! I got the spoon as a shower
gift. I think from Toys R Us. I need to
get a couple more.
He's been staring at us while we eat for
awhile, so once he got the food, he wanted
it shoveled in until it was gone and then
some!
We have a family camp, so we wasn't
tenting, but Jaylon is such a good baby,
he goes with the flow. As long as he's
with people he loves, he doesn't care
where he is. I am very lucky! I love him
more than words could ever say!

O.M.G! He is so cute and is getting so
big! It does not seem like it has been 4
months, where does time go? He seems like
such a happy baby! Thanks for sharing!
