Don't feel bad - I gained weight after stopping the bc pill and I weighed almost 152lbs when I got pregnant I have gained a total of 16lbs so far and am 33.4 weeks today. I have never felt so big and so uncomfortable in my life!!! I am praying that it will come off fairly easily after baby comes, but my body loves to hang onto the fat I guess I will be doing alot of exercising and healthy eating in a couple of months. I would love to get back down to around 135lbs - god willing!!!!!

Unless your doctor is concerned, I wouldn't be too terribly worried about not gaining a lot of weight..normally, doctors like to see you gain 20-30 pounds throughout your pregnancy..I had trouble geining weight with all of my pregnancies (oh, if that were only true while I wasn't pregnant! haha) I only managed 20 lbs. with one of mine (out of 3)..the last one, I had only gained 2 lbs. at 8 months and the doctor put me on early maternity leave..I gained 10 lbs. in all with her..and she was close to 7 lbs..just eat sensibly and try to munch on healthy snacks throughout the day..good luck! and hopefully, your remaining 10 weeks will go by quickly.

you guys are doing really good with weight gain! i am 31 weeks and have gained about 20 pounds. i am still in the norm, but i am really trying not to eat all the snacky stuff now! it is hard!!! i hope my little girl comes right at full term so i don't have to wait as long. then it would only be 6 weeks from now! i would be pretty lucky though!

Sounds like you all are doing really well with your weight gain. I am 36.2 weeks and I have gained about 35 pounds. I was a little underweight to start with though.

Tulalabell - Good luck with not eating the snacky foods!!! I have tried, but when you're hungry, you grab the first thing that looks good.

Ha! I am not doing well with weight gain. I am 35 and half weeks and I have gained 58 lbs. Yeah, um, that's not good.

But at least you and the baby are healthy!! You look pretty slender in the pictures you have posted, so I'm sure you will lose it quickly after the baby is born.

I am hoping that most of it is water weight because I am soooo swollen. It's horrible to look at the scale anymore.

thanks! i will need some luck to stay away from the junk food! it is even harder because dh keeps buying me a cookie or i got an ice cream cake for my b-day and i keep eating it everyday! he buys these things has like a piece then it sits there until i eat it! luckily it is summer because i also love fruit, so sometimes that takes care of my sweet tooth.
i am not swollen at all, so i think mine is all baby and extra butt.

I wish I was gainging weight. I'll be 30 weeks on Wednesdays and have not gained a single pound. I've actually lost 10 pounds which doesnt even cover the 2pounds 14ounces the baby weighs. I STAY sick 24/7, it's horrible!

Hey ladies! All your weight sounds good... I am 26w 2d and my last appt. I had only gained 9lbs.. Thats awsome news to me cause with my son I gained 60lbs.. Musikmaker hang in there I know how you feel.. I lost 50lbs after and I couldnt get rid of the last 10 and then I gave up cause I didnt want to get thin cause I wanted to have another baby so when I got pregnant this time I weighed 160.. I got up to 210lbs at time of dilivery with my son THAT SUCKED.. Everybody though I was going to have at least a 9 lbs baby but he only weighed 7lbs 8oz....lol Just remember its all worth it.. I PROMISE.. Just as long as everybodys babies are healthy dont worry about the weight.. Good Luck To All You Ladies

30 weeks and 2 days with 13 lbs gain so far which is fine with me...was a size 6 when this started and want to stay that way

I am 30 weeks pregnaant and on my feet 10 hours a day. i feel fine. WHat are the chanes of delivering early or any at all? 1st child.
