1. You cannot get HIV from saliva.
2. You can get HIV from protected sex,
even if the condom stays intact. Condoms
are not 100% effective.
3. You cannot get HIV from touching
someone unless you have a cut on your hand
so that the virus can get through.
4. You can only get HIV that way if she
had a cut on her breast or was lactating.
So you took three tests, and she took one?
HIV does not show up on tests right away
though, so your three tests might not be
accurate since you tested too soon. You
have to wait at least six weeks before
testing. Try testing again in a month or
two to make sure. As for her test, it
would only be accurate if she were not
recently infected, in the six weeks or so
prior to your encounter.

About Condoms Posted: 07-25-07 13:10pm
I think condms are effective methods in
preventing STDS MAINLY HIV & HEPATITS
B UNLESS THERE IS BREAKAGE OR SLIPPAGE (
BOTH NOT REPORTED IN MY SITUATION AND
PROFED BY WATER TESTING . OTHER stds like
Gonerohea & herpes not need fluid
exchange but just body contact .

Yes, condoms are very effective at
preventing STDs and pregnancy when used
correctly. However, they are not 100%
effective, even used exactly as intended
and there are no leaks. That's why there
really is no such thing as "safe sex,"
there is only "safer sex."
