We Got the House!!!!!!!!

I am so super excited right now! We found
a house in our hometown which is about
15-20 minutes from where we currently
live. Well, we went and talked to the
owner of the house today because we were
having some issues with the mortgage
company. Thanks to the house we own right
now they only wanted to give us a 95% loan
so we would have to pay 5% down. We really
just didn't have that much money to pay
out right now, especially with the baby
coming. Well, he agreed to do a
rent-to-own deal until we could get the
100% loan so we will just pay him directly
until then.
What's even greater is that our house
payment will be going from $1450/ month to
$600/month. OMG!!! I just can't believe
how much money we are going to be saving.
We will have absolutely no money problems
now. Our house is getting put up on the
market today. We were told to put it up
for $174,900 so hopefully we get at least
$163,000 cuz that's how much we owe. The
house we are moving into is only going to
cost us $90,000 which sounds so much
better to me. The funny thing is the house
we are moving into is about the same size
of the house we live in plus it has a
fence for our dogs. I am just so psyched
right now. After we get to move in I will
post pics of the new house.

Congrats! Everyone is getting houses! I
hope we can get started with something in
the next year. After the baby is born. We
are linked to this condo for a year. It's
nice, but i really want my own house!

congrats! that is so awesome! when do you
move?
i'm a little jealous of you and kay. i
would love to have our own house and more
privacy than we have now. unfortunately
you can't get anything for under $300k
here, even our crappy 900 sq foot condo
cost us $179k.
someday...

Were you talking about me or Suzy?
Anyways, no we own the house we live in.
His parents are living with us right now
though because they are in the process of
building a new house and theirs sold
before they thought it would. I think you
were talking to Suzy though anyways.

we figure we will all just get a house an

Congrats on the new house. Such an
exciting time!!! My husband and I moved
last October from a single wide trailer
into a house. It is quite a bit bigger
than the trailer was, so we got lost the
first few days!!!!

Congratulations to you! That is so great!
I wish we could find a deal like that
because the cheapest monthly payments we
could find was $1200 right now. Someday.
But I'm happy for you girl!

Congratulations!! That's so exciting! I
hope you get your asking price. It's so
fun decorating and arranging furniture in
a new home (IMO )
Tho when we moved to our new place, my mom
painted the interior for us...my hubby
works a lot, and I was pregnant. She also
said she didn't trust either of us with a
paint brush!
