i have been depressed now for over ten
years i have tried to ignore it but three
months ago at the age of 24 i hit breaking
point after having three children i
realised that wasnt the way to get through
my depression i dont know what to do now i
pull out chunks of hair and scratch myself
enough so its not noticeable ihave tried
different medications although they dont
seem to work for me, some times i just
wish i was dead and others i feel really
guilty for leaving the kids behind having
to go through what i am going through

I am depressed all the time just like you
man, I'm 15 and started exactly a year
ago. I want to die but I'm not going to
kill myself. I love my mom and I can't
leave her without me. All I have is her
and all she has is me.
And imagine what your children will be
like without a parent.
I know its really hard to get out of
depression but at least try to be happy
and know that your kids will always love
you.

If you've tried anti-depressants and they
don't work go to a doctor and have them
take a really good look at your thyroid.
They might have tested this and ruled it
out but the guidelines for the tests
aren't strict enough and many doctors rule
out the thyroid to soon. Do some reading
on the thyroid and find a doctor who has
handled problems like it before. As for
your kids, they are very important to you
but you've got to put yourself first
sometimes. Would you rather be half there
for years or take a little while so you
can be there for the rest of your life?
Catcher have you been to a doctor? You
seem like a very supportive person; I hope
your caring for yourself as well as
others.
