Lump In Throat And Pain In Legs Posted: 07-26-07 20:16pm
Here's my situation. I am a twenty four
year old male. And I have be seeing a
neuorologist for pains and leg weakness,
hyperflexia, muscle spams/twitches and
frequent constipation. I have had
multiple mris on my cervical thoracic and
lumbar spine. Even mris on my brain and a
spinal tap have been preformed. But I
have not recieved a definitive answer or
solution on how to improve any of my
symptoms. I was hospitalized and given
anabolic steriods to try and strenghten my
nervous system. But have not felt a
significat reduction in pain. My
questions is besides these symptoms I have
had a throat problem since childhood.
Where I occassionaly feel an intense pain
and a lump in my throat. These symptoms
have grown worse over the last couple
months so I recently saw an ENT
specialists. The ENT recommended that I
have a CT SCAN Done. The CT SCAN showed a
clacium deposit in my cervical spine.
Could this deposit have caused the pain I
experienced in my legs. Furthermore how
come the MRIS that I have had done
previously not show this calcium deposit.
Any insight on whether or not this deposit
in my cervical spine is related to my leg
pain and weakness would be greatly
appreciated. Thank you
