Is a bumpy, red, ithcy rash on face a symptom of pregnancy? Posted: 07-27-07 18:01pm
I am expecting my period to come around
the 7th of August. Usually by this time of
the month, I can feel it coming...bloated,
tired, sore and swollen breast. I haven't
had any of that. I had unprotected sex 3
days after my last period, and according
to all the research I've done, it would be
VERY unlikely to get pregnant at that
time. I'm having all sorts of symptoms
that are more pregnancy-related than
period-related. I'm very nauseous almost
all the time (although not vomiting),
light-headed frequently, and I've got a
very noticeable bump high on the belly,
just like where I carried my other 2
children. My question is not entirely
about possibly being pregnant. Within the
last 3 days I have developed a bumpy, red,
ithcy rash all over my face. None of my
daily habits, make-up,
detergent...anything....has changed. Could
this be a symptom of pregnancy also? Are
my hormones out of whack, and if they are,
could it cause this?

The first serious sign of pregnancy is a
lack of the menstrual period. There is no
sense in supposing possible pregnancy
before you miss your period. Additionally,
the symptoms you’ve mentioned are very
subjective and could mean anything. Even
more, there is no way that a facial rash
can be a sign of pregnancy. You can do a
home pregnancy test if your period is
late.
