Okay, so I have an urge to start
traveling, but I have this really big
problem with flying. It's not the height,
but the feeling that you have no control
and that you can't just get out of the
plane whenever you want to. Sort of liek
clauterphobia. So I don't want statistics
and things, I know how safe planes are. I
just need help getting over the no control
part. I can never handle it and have never
actually been over an ocean... so I am
freaking out big time. I am planning on
going to Europe and I live in New Jersey.
Any ideas on how to get over this fear?

I don't have a answere to your question,
but i too am in the same situation. I have
been on a plane, but it was basicly one
big panic attack. I didn't get over it
until i landed. I would like to travel
some myself.

I feel that way in a car sometimes
even to the point where I try to "steer"
in my mind
I dunno if that would help...but that
helps me stay positive and basically hold
onto life and Ive not been in a crash yet
so fingers crossed.
I dunno, i mean i could give you countless
analogies....
its like this
POINT 1 - - - - - - - - - - POINT 2
the danger inbetween is constantly varied
im not a gambler...but some risks you just
have to take
