Is My Girlfriend Pregnant? Posted: 09-04-03 02:47am
Hey guys. Heres the situation basically,
my girlfriend and I are/were both virgins,
at least until 3 days ago. We were alone,
things got a bit heated and we did have
some type of intercourse. There was no
condom involved, or any other type of
protection, but this was very quick.
I went in about half way, and she was
hurting so we pulled out. Then I went in
half way again, and pulled out again.
Neither of us had an orgasm, and I did
wipe my penis before I inserted it, to
wipe off any pre cum there could be.
This was one day before she is supposed to
get her period, and now it is three days
later and still no period. She does have
a tendency to be late though, shes almost
never on time. In the 2 years ive been
with her, I dont think there been any 2
months where she was exactly on time. Now
of course, as any young couple, we are
worried (we're both 20, but college
students and dont want a child yet, and we
are planning to get married in two years).
Are there any signs of pregnancy so
early, that we can maybe kind of know
within a week? Any help would be
appreciated on the subject, we really
doubt the whole pregnancy thing because of
the situation, but anyone who might be
more of an expert on the subject could
possibly put there expertise to work for
us here. Please reply soon. I think we
just need some re-assurance.

You have good chances that there is no way
she got pregnant. So count your lucky
stars. Its way too early to tell. Tell
her not to stress because that would delay
her period even more. But if she does not
get her period lets say in another week or
so, then let her take one to be safe. So
dont worry about it, it looks ok. Good

I agree with what nikki said (as I always
)
it's only been 3 days, and like u said,
she is irregular, so dont stress it too
much, it will make u both miserable!
Relax
now, if u guys are still worried, then
wait a week or so, take one or even two
preg tests to make sure, I am talking
about take one in a week, then the other
one the next week to make sure. But like
nikki said, there is only a very very very
slight chance, so dont worry.
But I think it'll be wise for her to get
on birth control, not to have excuse to
not use condoms during sex, just that it
will help controlling her irregular
periods and prevent some possible
sickness.

Thanks for the info guys. How much of a
chance is there really? Percentage
wise?
Also, still no period, and she says she
doesnt really feel anything at all right
now, like its coming or anything. She
said her breasts slightly hurt today, but
that could be because a period is on the
way anyway, right?
She said she was having cravings for
stuff, but I figure its so early that
thats just her wanting to eat stuff :d
shes been eating a bit more and drinking
more liquids, leading to more urination,
but shes also got a pretty bad cold to go
along with it, so thats the reason thats
going on. We really just dont want her
to be pregnant, and I know it sounds
rediculous to people who have been having
sex, whether protected or not, for us to
be worried about this, seeing as how I
never went all the way inside, nor did I
cum, and it was only like a 3 min thing.
We dont even want to have sex yet, we
want to wait until marriage. Everyday we
think, "no way, its impossible", then we
second guess ourselves anyway.
Are we just worrying too much, or is there
a chance that she really could be
pregnant? I think I just need numbers
on this one...Like 1%, 10%, more, less,
whatever. Im trying to get her to relax
so she can get her period instead of
stressing and delaying it more, but she
needs more satisfaction, and to be quite
honest, so do i.

Well its good you want to wait until
marraige! I admire your strength to do
so! But you really should not worry. You
have like a 1.9% chance out of a hundred
that she is pregnant. And her period isnt
even that late yet. I wasnt even having
sex and I was a month and a half late ( a
while ago)! So just tell her that the
cravings and other symptoms are all in her
head. Its a natural feeling that once a
lady thinks she's "pregnant" she gets the
cramps, the puking, the sore breasts..And
then about a week later, theres her
period. So dont worry, and tell your
girlfriend not to worry either. She is
lucky to have a guy like you! I found

I agree with nikki and hongkongchick, you
guys are probably safe, with virtually
little chance of getting pregnant. You
did not cum, you did not penetrate fully,
and it is right before her period. Since
she is irregualr, that is probably what is
making things late. And you said she has
a cold, which can throw her period out of
wack as well. I am not a doctor, so I
cannot give you a percentage, but chances
are very very very very very very slim
compared to someone who has sex in the
middle of the cycle. Next time...Even if
it is to just fool around, maybe have a
condom handy....Just incase - even if you
don't put your penis in the whole way (or
if you are just playing around "outside"
of the vagina). At least you know you
guys are safe...I also think its cool you
two want to wait for marriage! I totally admire
that. :d

Breasts tenderness is one of the pms, so
her period might be coming! I am kinda
sure about that too! Coz even if she's
pregnant, symptoms wont show till later.
So whatever she is feeling or craving
might just simply be stress and pms

We also just realized that she probably
still has her hymen..Does that make a
difference? Basically, when I went in, I
didnt go far enough and tear it, she didnt
feel it, neither did i, and she's never
done it herself either, so it should still
be there right?

What? But are u sure there was no blood
coming out after u two had sex? It is a
possiblity, but not a big chance, and
whether or not her hymen is still there
does not make a huge difference, some
women can still have their hymen after
having sex numerous times, and some women
lost theirs even if they havent had sex
yet.
So there is no way to check unless she
consulted the doc to do a pap test

Hi my g/f and I are sexually active, i'm
16, she's 18, we're been together for
almost 2 years. Its been about maybe 2 or
3 months since she's had her period. Its
happend before where she was 2 months
late, and didn't end up pregnant. Well
we've taken 2 pregnancy test, on a week
after she was supposed to get her period,
and the other about 2 or 3 weeks later,
both turned out negative. We haven't been
to a doctor or a planned parenthood, and
she hasn't had any sypmtoms of pregnancy,
except that she hasn't gotten her period,
and she looks like she has gained a couple
of pounds, but other than that there
hasn't been any other symptoms. So what
do I do, i've been planning to go to a
doctor, but haven't yet. Why did both of
those test come back negative?
)
