We have a girl name picked out so I thought I would share it with everyone. What do you guys think of Brina Grace? Brandon found Brina and I have always loved Grace. Brina means protector or defender so he really liked it.

I like that name. I have Simone, or sophia picked out for a girls name. I had Sophia picked out before i seen how popular it is. I still really like it. But i have no middle names for the two.

I like both of your girl names that you have picked out. We are having trouble picking out a boy name though.

Argh! We are too. My fiances name is Marty. His dads name is Marty. So all his life he's been little marty, and his dad has been big marty.. Sooo Now he thinks it's his turn to be big marty, and wants to name our boy that. I'm not saying i don't like that name, but i have had the dream of having a little boy all my life, and not naming him marty Sad But of course i'm being selfish ( so he says ) I'm lost cause he won't even discuss it with me lol

I don't really like naming kids after other people, including their dads. To me, it's giving the little one too much or too little to grow up against. If dad is super successful and they share that name it could really stress a kid out, ya know?

I think Brina Grace sounds very pretty and very versatile. I tend to think of names through life stages. How does it sound for a baby? for an elementary school kid? for a high school cheerleader/athlete/valedictorian/etc? up to CEO of a large major corporation?

Some names don't sound right for all of those life stages or life choices and I like names that work for all of them. I think Brina Grace works for all of them.

I personally like Cassie as a first name for a girl. I like Elizabeth as a middle name, but that feels so over-used as a middle name these days.

I'm in a similar predicament as you, Hollyberries, for a boy name. My dh is a third and has said that he doesn't want there to be a fourth, though he feels like he would be pressured to continue the name. I suspect that has something to do with why he wants to have a girl.

Now if I could only get pregnant...
