Anus is stinging and very itchy w/ uncontrolled stool leakag Posted: 07-30-07 06:14am
for the past two years i have been having
trouble with my anus. When i have to go to
the toilet after i have been i need to
constantly return to the toilet to wipe
myself again as i am leaking more waste.
this happens within ten minutes from first
going to the toilet and can need 5 or 6
returns just to wipe again. after i have
eventually got myself clean my anus is
stinging and very itchy despite me using
soft tissues or even baby wipes, i do
occassionally get bleeding inside my anus
which is rather uncomfortable, its
becoming a nightmare now and would like to
know what it is and what treatment i could
use. due to my mother having ibs its
seriously worrying for myself.

Given the symptoms you report,
(uncontrolled stool leakage after bowel
movement) it seems that you are
experiencing some type of fecal
incontinence. Fecal incontinention can be
due to many reasons. Anal itching and
occasional bleeding may suggest having
hemorrhoids compounded by local infection.
It doesn't seem likely that hemorrhoids
can cause fecal incontinence. Without a
diagnosis, however, treatment is not
possible. You can consult an abdominal
surgeon or gastroenterologist for an
examination and a precise diagnosis.
