How late do you have to be on taking your
pill for it to be considered late? I
usually take my pill around 9:30 but last
week i was on vacation and took some
around 11. am i still ok to have
unprotected sex? or should i use a backup
method?

A few hours won't hurt you.
You will be fine. I believe if its more
than six hours, so I've been told, then
you need backup.
In your case, youre good!
