How often should one be working out, especially the abs. Is it too much to be doing situps everyday?

Hi,

you only need to train your abs the same amount as any other body part. Twice a week with 2 sets of 10 - 15 reps for lower abs, then the same for obliques and then the same for upper abs.

It is important to remember lower - obliques - uppers this is to ensure correct abdominal wall recruitments.

If you want to get a great six pack, all you have to do is remove fat from around your abs. Doing ab work will not achieve this you would have to do 72,000 situps to remove 1 kg of fat, thats 100 per day for 20 years.
