I can feel my lower wisdom teeth coming
in. It feels as if they're coming up
straight and as if I have "room" for
them.
Would it still be wise to get them
removed? If so, why?
Also, I do not feel any teeth coming in on
top. Do they usually come in at different
times, or is there a possible chance I
don't have upper wisdom teeth?
Thank you very much for your answer.

if you have room for them then there
really isnt a reason to get them pulled.
your top ones may not have even started
moving yet or you may not have them at
all. the only way to find that out would
be to get an x ray. at your next dental
appt . ask for a pano and that will show
where the teeth are. from what it sounds
like there is no need to have them pulled.

Ok, thank you. When I go I'll remember to
ask for a Pano.
But another question. I hear most people
get them pulled even when there is room
because they grow wrong; say at an angle
or something. What's the chances of that?

it really depends. id say a 50-50 chance.
either they are or they arent. getting
that pano will give you an idea and then
you can decide wether or not its a good
idea to have them pulled. I had mine
pulled cause of tmd and i didnt have too
much room for them. (oh and if you do get
them pulled id go for all at once. that
way you only have to do it once. )
