Help - My Semen Stings My Girlfriend Posted: 07-31-07 08:19am
Hi, recently I've begun having sex with my
girlfriend with the pill and so, no
condom. However, we've noticed that when I
come inside her, she stings a lot because
of my semen.
Is there anything that might be causing
this? Is there something wrong in my diet?
What can be done to help?
I'm now either ejaculating outside of her,
or wearing a condom again.
Any advice or knowledge will be much
appreciated.

I've seen this on the women's forum, and
it seems some women are sensitive to
semen.
There is a lot of salt in semen, so just
as blood going into your eyes stings (or
salt water) it may be that she has small
cuts or simply a sensitive vagina that
stings due to the salt.
I don't think there's anything you can do
diet wise. Seems using condoms is your
most comfortable option, or
outside-ejaculation.

Thanks for the input Eiri.
At first I kind of thought this too, but
my girlfriend said she did not have this
issue previously, and only with me.
I also never had this problem with my
previous partner.
It is still very baffling to me.

I am sensitive to this also. Usually when
sex is 'rougher' maybe... Semen on raw
skin isn't comfortable to me and sometimes
burns a bit.
Does your girlfriend use spermicide? That
is a terrible contributor to that burning
feeling.

Well it may be that your specific semen
has a different composition than whoever
she was with before.
I know that eating a lot of mean can make
semen bitter and eating fruit can make it
sweet... so maybe see if there's something
in your diet that could be contributing. I
can't say how much success you'll get with
that though.
