I have been experiencing some pregnancy
symptoms for the at least ther past
month....my cycle is very irregular but i
have recently figured out the irregular
cycle that it seems to be playing out....I
the first day of my last cycle was April
5th....I havent had one since...i have
gained weight and my breast have become
swollen and tender at times they also have
prominent blue veins running all up and
down them. I have taken numerous pregnancy
tests and they all have come up negative.
my sister says that it may just be stress
but how can she explain the veins in my
breasts and my stomach......i have a very
light complexion but i have never seen
these veins until up to about a month
ago......i have noticed that the veins in
my legs,thighs,and arm are more
prominent....can anyone please help me out
with any experiences that they may have
had that can relate?????????????

The best thing you could do is go see your
ob/gyn. You can't diagnose pregnancy based
on symptoms because they can really be
symptoms of a multitude of things. Go ask
for a pregnancy blood test since it's been
so long since your last period and maybe
just ask for a checkup.

I'm back with more questions. I have not
gotten my period yet and i am experiencing
urges to have to go to the restroom every
ten to thirty minutes....but when i go
only a little comes out. I am still having
a little breast tenderness..it comes and
goes and now the blue veins have started
to appear on my abdomen...what's going on
here, every test i have taken has been
negative and i have yet to take another
recently so?????

Well, the problems with urinating sounds a
bit like a uti to me. In all seriousness,
I would say a trip to the doctor is in
order. While you may not be pregnant,
something is keeping your period from
starting. Your hormones could be out of
balance which could be causing the breast
tenderness and your prominent veins. The
hormone progesterone can cause the blue
veins you are talking about. Ifr you are
worried about not having insurance or
money go to a planned parenthood clinic.
They do free and low cost pap smears and
can also do a blood test for pregnancy if
needed.
