Medicine For Lowback And Nerve Pain
Posted: 08-01-07 14:17pm

Hi, im 18 years old and i fell on ice over 6 months ago delivering pizza. the doctors cant pinpoint whats going on but they thing its muscle spasms in my lower pack pinching one or more nerves running down my right leg, ive gone to more doctors than i can keep track of, primary, chiropractor, neurologists, neurosurgeons, pain management, orthopeadics, and im going in circles. im taking morpine (90mg/day), and lyrica (450mg/day) and lidoderm patches for pain and almost all the time it doesnt help and i still find myself falling on the ground in a tremendous amount of pain, yelling and crying, all of this with the aid of crutches. (now im not like a macho man or anything, but i feel like i can handle an average amount of pain) If anyone has a pain or nerve medicine that works well for them please let me know. i know morphine is a very strong drug and i feel like if anything this should help. also, the chance of addiction runs through my mind everyday because im 18, i dont need to be on drugs my whole life. lately the risk of addiction its becoming less and less scary to me because it hurts so bad so often that i just dont care, if i could get out of this pain the risk of addiction seems almost worth it.

anyone with any ideas please let me know i feel more and more desperate to get back to my life, im not used to spending pretty much 24 hours a day in bed.
