cindy, i consider you an oldie. what time
does jaylon go to bed? i'm just wondering
how much time you get with him at night.
poor nick gets home at 5 and finn goes to
bed at 7, so they only have those 2 hours
to play and have dinner.
here's a fun story... finn was just
hanging out in his exersaucer having a
snack and i look over and he's splashing
his feet around in a pool on the bottom.
the seat had basically wrung his diaper
out and it was just dripping all over the
place! it wasn't just a few drops either,
there was a big puddle in the bottom! then
i took him out and his onesie was soaked
up to his chest and his feet were
dripping. that's never happened before!
oh, and not to say i don't enjoy the newer
people as much as the old. i'm just
missing laura, kia, sarah, krissy, and
others. i even miss the ones who still
post just not as often, like tanya.

I am here now! I had a dr's appointment
today that was very disappointing. I am
still only dilated to a 1 and 50% effaced.
I was that 2 weeks ago too! I am only 36
weeks though so I really have plenty of
time.
The story about Finn is funny. I had
something similar to that happen whenever
I worked in daycare but instead of pee it
was poop It wasn't very
pleasant to clean up. I was a few weeks
pregnant at the time too but didn't know
it so I was gagging and very close to
throwing up while I was cleaning it.
I hope that everyone's day is going well
and that everyone is staying nice and
cool. I know I would really love a swim
right now

thanks nat! everything ok? i
don't really know what an endoscopy
is...
I've had Gastroesophogeal Reflux Disorder
(GERD) since I was 8. Basically, it's
chronic heartburn because I over-produce
stomach acid. The only problem with this
is that I didn't say anything about it
until I was 10, so I went for two years
with stomach acid splashing up into my
esophagus. I've been on medication since I
was 10, and it changes the ph of the acid
so that, while I can still digest food, it
doesn't burn as badly when I have reflux.
Apparently they are diagnosing this a lot
in infants, and that makes me want to cry.
It's no fun.
An endoscopy is when they take a camera
and take pictures of your esophagus. It's
got some really big technical name for the
specific procedure they did but I don't
remember it. It had something to do with
"esophogeal" in it but that's basically
it. I was put under anesthesia and then
intubated, and then they did the camera
thing. So it hurts to swallow AND to
breathe! I have had 5 Slurpees since like
4:30 yesterday!
I'm glad they did it, though, because they
found nodules (bumps) at the base of my
esophagus where it meets my stomach. This
is probably scar tissue from the acid
burning away at it for so long, but they
took a couple of them to do a biopsy.
They'll have my results in a month or so.
And apparently I don't clot properly. When
they took out my IV, it just bled, and
bled, and bled some more. Yesterday was,
on the whole, not a good day for me.
Sorry for all the complaining! I didn't
realize I sounded as whiny as I did until
after I typed it all
out!
my dad had that and woke up in the middle
of the procidure and started punching
doctors out because he was chocking and
they were trying to restrain him.... when
i saw him after that he was soooo bruised
up!
just imagine the drama unfolding in alive
chat , wow hmm

courtnie, the whole time i was cleaning up

Poop is really bad but whenever you are
pregnant the smell of pee is horrible! I
can smell a pee diaper a mile away!
However, I don't know if your sensitivity
to smell might not have kicked in yet.
I think that live chat would be really
fun! I never get on instant messenger
anymore so I am just on forums. Besides, I
don't think that anyone on here has my
screen name for IM.

that would be a great

He goes to bed between 8:30pm and 9:00pm.
I get up at 5:30am and feed him then he
and I hang out while I get ready for work.
I drop him off at daycare around 7:45am.
Mike picks him up and we all get home
around 5:00pm. Mike, Brianna and I all
argue over who gets him. lol
He eats, has a bath, and we sing/play
until he passes out. It's so boring after
he goes to bed.

Back to work for me. I worked in my
classroom from 7 to 5 and I'm going back
tomorrow, but only for about 2 hours.
They brought me 3 computers and 2 printers
and all the wires are tangled. I want to
go untangle and fix my computer center.
I'm back in full swing on Monday, so I
won't be on much at all. Maybe every
other weekend when Jesse's working and a
few nights a week when Ava goes to sleep.
I'll check in when I can.

Kids start school in August there? Weird,
not until September here. I thought they
got 3 months off over there -june, july
august?
Thanks Bridget
I dunno whats really up with him. Stomach
bug I guess. He woke up crying and with a
fever at 11pm, 1:30am and 4am last night,
im so tired! He just kept crying and then
saying he couldnt get to sleep which made
him get real angry so he was yelling at
me. He wasnt sick and hasnt had diarhea.
He was okay to play in the daytime
yesterday and again today, he has a
temperature but nothing like during the
nights, I was near to sponging him down
I reached the point
where I didnt know what to do to try and
help, he was crying so I just layed in bed
with him and kept saying its okay im
here....the medicine will make you feel
better soon and things like that.
Nightmare!
Not looking forward to tonight, hes still
not better because although hes playing,
he has only had a biscuit and its almost
1pm. He usually cant stop eating in the
mornings.
My mums back tomorrow though
