39 Weeks 6days Midwife Appt And My Last Belly Pics!

So my due dates tomorrow and I had my
appointment with the midwife today. She
nearly gave me a heart attack to start
with by telling me she thought the baby
was breech... but after a few more pushes
she said nope its head down...phew!!
Everything seems to be going well and baby
is a fair size (whatever that means!) She
said I am still carrying quite high but
thats not uncommon for women having their
2nd + babies. Apparently it generally
happens at the last minute.
I have an appointment for Tuesday to have
a membrane sweep (oh the joys!) and a
meeting with my consultant. She said he
will want to book an induction date then
too. Thats where the problems start...
because I have had a c-section with my
first baby they dont wont want to induce
unless they really have to, meaning they
could leave me for a while. She said my
induction date will probably be between
the 13th aug - 15th aug.
She said hopefully while he is doing my
sweep he will find my cervix is getting
ready to do the birthing thing and (if I
dont go into labour) he'll have me go back
a couple of days later to break my waters
and maybe try ago with picton (because of
the section I am only allowed one go!) If
it doesnt work then I'll be having a
section.
Worst situation would be that on Tuesday
cervix is nowhere near ready and he will
send me home in the hope something will
change, if not, she said they probably
wont even bother to try and induce it will
be a straight section! (although I will
argue that I would atleast like to try on
my own!!)
There was to much talk of a section for my
liking!. I need labour dust ladies and
plenty of it!!! I am praying baby decides
to come out on it own... otherwise I could
be around for another 2 weeks! Its been a
depressing day.
Now for the pics and they are not great. A
mixture of a bright flash and a dirty
mirror!! but they will do. Enjoy because
they're probably the last belly pics you
will see from me... I think i'll be too
depressed to do more!
Excuse the p.js they are having to stretch
to the max!!

it's any day now!

Jo, I still can't figure out how you went
from ttc to being 40 weeks in like.......a
week? your pregnancy seems to have flown
by! for me at least LOL.
It's so exciting that some of you girls
don't know if your having a boy or girl,
what a fun surprise. I like the names you
picked out! I hope you go into labor
soon!!

lol It has gone really fast...all except
the last 3 weeks anyway!
I am sitting here stuffing my face with a
huge bowl of pineapple, I have a hot curry
on order for my dinner and I am looking
forward to having a nice bath this evening
to relax and getting Chris to rub my feet
(I'll be making sure he pays particular
attention to the accupressure points ).
Pleeeeeease hope at least one of these
things works!!
