I'm not a doctor or anything, but I do
know some things about weight loss because
that's what I have been studying for a
while. There's no super-secret diet out
there, as doctors and health teachers will
tell you, fad diets rarely work and when
they do, it's not likely to last long.
Really, it is just the simple "diet and
exercise." Just limit the junk food, eat
well balanced meals, and exercise. Up the
cardio, weight lifting is good if you're
into it, if not, there's always bodyweight
exercises, but the most important thing in
the weight loss is the cardio. I
apologise, but I can't quite remember what
agoraphobia is, isn't it opposite of
claustrophobia? If that's the case, you
can always do cardio exercises like
jumping jacks, burpees (which you can find
if you do a youtube search if you don't
know what it is. Trust me, those things
are definately a workout) jog in place,
etc. Those are all things you can do even
in your house. Remember, it usually takes
about the same amount of time to get the
weight off as it did to put it on,
sometimes longer or shorter, just be
patient and don't give up.
So: 1. Balanced diet, no fad diets 2.
Exercise, with a lot of cardio
And another thing is, when it comes to
workout routines, make goals but don't be
unreasonable. Make sure the routine is
right for you, or you'll probably just end
up giving up. That has happend to me a few
times until I had a friend (one who knows
what he's doing) write me a routine
specifically for what I want, specifically
for me; keeping my abilities in mind,
therefore it's challenging but not
unreasonable.
