Well, we just got back from the fetal
assessment and the baby seems to be fine.
The fluids and all that are okay. My
blood pressure is a little high, but they
are not too concerned about it at this
point. I just have to take it easy and
watch for headaches and all that. They
said I may get bumped tomorrow if they are
too busy so i would have to wait until
after the weekend and come in for another
ultrasound on sunday!! Let's just hope
that doesn't happen.
The baby is measuring at 9 lb. 12-13 oz!!!
I was about that weight when I was born,
my mother tells me, and she is only 5 '
tall whereas I am 5' 6". Everyone in
Rich's family is pretty tall also. Maybe
the measurement is a little off, but the
U/S tech told me they usually estimate on
the lower end. UH OH!! LOL.
Anyway, here is a pic of baby if you can
make it out. It's getting pretty crowded
in there and hard to get a good pic.
Also, it's a picture of a picture so the
quality isn't the best.

goes up with pain and discomfort. Is the
baby dropping? Labor dust to you! I
forget, what are the names that you are
thinking about? I want to see this baby

oh, the names we are thinking about are
edith ellen and evan richard. i had been
stuck on sophie for a girl but i think
sophia has become really popular lately so
i'm not sure about it now because they are
pretty much the same name. so, i'm still
not entirely sure about the girl name, but
Rich likes the boy name so that will stay
if it's aboy.
i was thinking of a different spelling for
edith. i like the name because of a lady
named mrs. eadie that we used to visit as
kids. she was so sweet. so i like the
name eadie but it seems more like a
nickname. there are alternate spellings
like:
eadith
eadyth
edithe
edyth
and so on. i don't know which one i
should go for if it's a girl.

Don't worry about them saying your baby
will be 9lbs, they may be off. The day I
was induced the ultra sound tech told me
Brayden would be 8 lb 7 oz but he was only
7lb 8oz.. I always heard they could be up
to two pounds off either way with
ultrasounds!

yeah, i had an u/s the night before finn
was born and they were pretty insistent
that he was right at 10 pounds. he ended
up only being 8lbs 5oz. they still all
went on about how big he was but he was
tiny to me.
