Ok so Im a 30 yr old SAHM (stay at home mom) I found out 7-23-07 that I was preg via home test......

That Weds... the 25th I went to the ER with some light spotting.... they checked my levels and said HCG was 714....... come back friday for a repeat check........ so I go back friday...... levels are 799.... then yesterday they are 876.... clearly rising... but NOT doubling...... can this still produce a healthy baby? Has anyone experienced this? So My OB wants me to come back tomorrow and get more HCG levels..... and Tues wants to do an U/S.......

Am I wasting my time thinking that this could go anywhere? I am trying so hard not to give up....... Question

Hey there, try to think positive and not to worry too much. Some docs will say that it is a bad sign when your levels aren't rising enough and some will say not too worry about the HCG levels, that an ultrasound is a better way to tell if a pregnancy is viable or not.

So hopefully you get some answers soon and maybe ask to be sent for an ultrasound. I just recently suffered a m/c, so if you have any questions about my early signs please feel free to pm me.

Good Luck and let us know how everything turns out.

Shannah
