I am having a terrible few days.
It's absolutely awful.
I've had a headache for about 2-3 days,
& my whole body is just aching &
sore for no apparent reason. I've been
feeling so down about myself lately. I
really don't want to sound like I'm giving
myself a pity party, but I am seriously
getting fat, & I am honestly starting
to be really depressed about it. I keep
saying I want to join a gym, but Chris
keeps saying he doesn't know if it's a
good idea. I'm going to do it anyway.
Anyway. That's not why I am posting.
Gabriel has been an absolute TERROR
lately. I don't know what the deal is. He
always seems upset.. Okay, not always, but
I'm allowed to exaggerate. He's been
screaming all day. He doesn't have a
fever, he's been pooping alright, &
he's been eating okay. But he just cries
& cries. I really think he might be
teething. He's a literal bucket of drool
& wants to chew on absolutely
everything.
I'm just so stressed out. I almost had a
panic attack earlier today because I felt
like I couldn't deal.
Shombody talk to meh.

Im sorry Krissy. I have them days too and
they suck! I almost had a panic attack
yesterday because Amelia would cry
everytime I left her side and I couldnt
get anything done. I was starving and
holding my piss in because I didnt want
her to scream and people call the cops on
me thinking Im doing something wrong.
Shes been teething like forever and has 3
teeth but they arent all the way through.
They been 1/4 up for about 3 months now
and Im guessing they are causing her pain
because there are days where she doesnt
want to do anything but fuss. It definatly
sucks. .I swear sometimes I would bang my
head into the wall if I wouldnt get a
concusion or have to pay for the damages.
lol

Oh yeah it sounds like he's teething! Poor
little guy! Does he have any white tops on
his teeth or can you feel anything coming
in when you run your fingers along his
gums. Try a white cloth (so the dye
doesn't leak out) with water on it and
twist it, put it in a baggie (so it
doesn't get any bacteria on it) Then throw
it in the freezer. Wait a bit and give it
to him... BUT watch him with it, because
of the cloth strings, but he may like it
cause he can mold it in his mouth, and its
a soft texture.. Sometimes babies don't
know when to drop teething rings etc and
can get frost bite on there gums so, give
it to him and then take it back etc.
Sounds like he's really struggling poor
little one.
WOW you are having a rough time lately
too! . I hope that everything gets better
soon! Just relax (if you can), it will be
better again soon!

Lol, thanks...
I have lots of teething rings that he
really likes to chew on. I know what to
look for, but if I'm not incorrect, it can
take a really long time for teeth to
actually break though, so even if he is
teething, he won't necessarily have bumps
on his gums yet.
I'm just taking it day by day.

Oh ok. I specialize in infant care I was
in university for many years. I am a grade
two teacher and in the summer I hold
meetings for mostly young moms. I also
work at a daycare caring for atleast 10
infants each day. Some people don't know
what to do, or what to look for. So, I
just thought I would give you a heads up
on what you can look for drooling is BIG
and chewing is also a pretty good
sign..(but you know this) Funny though
because *usually* the most painful time is
when the infant has the little white bumps
or just when the tooth is coming through.
Is he favoring one side of his mouth of
another.. GOOOOOOOOOOD LUCK! It can be a
challenging time.. I totally understand!

soon. is there anyone that can come by
and help you out a bit for a while? like,
a friend or relative or someone? maybe you
would feel better if you could just take a
break for a little while. i dunno.
anyway, hope it doesn't last too long.
take care.

Jaylon has 2 teeth now, the second just
came through today. He's just a couple
days younger than Gabe. I was shocked to
see his first tooth, cause everyone said
he was too young to be teething. He
wasn't as fussy as Gabe seems to be, but
he seemed off to me, and he too was/is a
drool machine and will put absolutely
anything and everything in his mouth.
Cold teethers work so well and frozen wash
cloths. I actually put a wash cloth over
my finger and let him chomp away, because
it makes him feel better. My ped says
that it's ok to use a little baby orajel
if you think that is the problem. I hate
the idea of giving him meds, so I havn't
gone that route.....yet.
It is rough.
I'm sorry you are feeling down. I did so
well losing my baby weight only to end up
putting a bunch back on for no apparent
reason (and fast too). My doc tested my
thyroid, because I was feeling awful all
the time. It isn't functioning properly,
so she put me on meds. I'm not feeling
any different yet, but am hopeful that I
will very soon. It's only been 2 weeks.
I guess that problem is pretty common as
another great joy of post partum junk.
Good luck

I hope you feel better, but it sounds like
your baby is teething and u may need to
try to relaxe a little they say babies can
sense when the moms stressed out, so try
to relaxe and remember tomorrow will be a
better day...

How are you today? I hope that you're
having a better day!
It definitely sounds like Gabe is teething
though.. Jenny's first teeth are only just
coming through now & she's been
teething for over 6 months now. It'll get
easier.. babies have times when they're
really grumpy & really drooly, but it
doesn't happen everyday.
I hear you on the weight thing.. my weight
gets me down too, I hate the way I look. I
think joining a gym is a great idea, hun..
I wish I could, but I just haven't got the
time or the money.
