Steve's a good driver, he has occassional
moments where I'm like "what where's ya
lane discipline gone?" but he can park
like no-one I've ever come across.
The smaller and tighter the parking space
the better he is.
I've seen him parallel park in spaces
where there is less than 6" clearance
total - without touching either of the
other cars.
I've also seen him piss people off by
getting out of similar spaces
I'm a much more aggressive driver than he
is and think nothing of letting other road
users know what I think - Steve threatened
to have the horn removed from my car
Not far from where we live there is a
section of road with half dozen
roundabouts (haha gonna confuse the
Americans now), they all have great
visibility, so you can see on the approach
if anything is coming or not.
I tend to be looking well ahead and be
totally prepared and if they are clear I
just drive straight thru.
It really peeves me when people drive up -
being able to see there is nothing coming
at all and then they STOP, wait think
about moving, STOP then drive off when
there actually is something coming - like
errrrrr HELLO
