Share your anxiety story Posted: 08-03-07 21:17pm
Once again today I had to go out to the
store which is about a block away. I had
to go alone and I had another anxiety
attack
I cried and cried and begged someone to
come with me but they didnt and by the
time I cried for 15 minutes and musterd up
the stregnth to go, the store was closed
when I got there.
An attack is worst off in its own self but
people telling me "Go the store isnt far"
"Just hurry up and go" "why are you
crying" etc just makes it worst for me
beacuse then I start feeling ashamed of
myself.
I asked them "Dont you think I know where
the store is? If it were so easy for me to
go do you think I would still be here
crying?"
Ive asked my mom to go to the doctor so
maybe I could get some medical help for
this but she hasnt made an appointment. I
just wish in the meantime they would try
to understant anxiety.
Share your stories too if you like I can
feel the pressure already just reliving
the situation in my mind.
A nxiety A wareness Dont be ignorant to
what you dont understand!
Now im working on some kind of an
newsletter with facts and sympthoms of
anxiety so maybe next time they will
understand why I cry when I have to go out
to the store that "right there" and why I
am afraid when there's "nothing to be
afraid of"
