last week i had to go to the hospital , i
was having contractions i was 26 weeks at
the time. i had a very bad uti. now this
week it burns when i pee. i am taking the
meds that they gave me. but no relief i am
scared that this will hurt my baby. please
help me

SOunds like you still hae the UTI...finish
all your antibiotics..then if you are
still having symtpoms go see your dr.
Perhaps you are resistant to those
particular antibiotics.
drink fluids. lots and lots.

during pregnancy you ar prone to catch
things like thrush (stis) because your
body is changing but yeah drink lots of
water, take your antibiotics, which should
start to work after a few days. so it it
isnt working go see your doctor
baby andy is right you still have the UTI.
Take all your meds or even call on Monday
and say that you think the meds are not
working. Please drink plenty of water if
you can the more you pee the better. I
know it hurts but peeing fixes the
problem/ You I assume are 27 weeks now?
You said you had contractions well if it
happens again where they are 5 minutes
apart go in right away they can stop the
labour from progressing. They had to due
that for me quite a few times with my
twins and 2 or 3 times with my last
daughhter. Did the give you the steriod
shots yet? These shots are 1 on a hip and
24 hours later another shot on other hip
they usually keep you at the hospital for
that 24 hours and then 2 or 3 after the
last shot. What these shots do is mature
your babies lungs makes the develop faster
so if you do have your baby earily the
lungs are stronger. Girl babies take to
this a little better than boy babies.
