We had a kick-cass time at the lake! I
really missed the girls on Saturday
morning, and by Sunday morning I was
like-"get up lat's pack up and go home!".
We camped out at the same place we always
do at Lake Mac-Sandy beach. There's a
group of trees just big enough to
accomodate all 25 of us, and we are just
about 200 yards from the water. We played
tons of volleyball (My right wrist is
swollen!) We swam a lot, drank a bit, sat
around the fire and laughed, and had a
great time.
The children did well in our absence, but
right before we left, when we were packed
up in the car and about ready to drive
away, she got nailed by a yellow jacket
and thus began a shreiking episode lasting
no less than 20 minutes. We got her
calmed down, but she obviously did not
want us to leave at that point. By the
time we got back she was missing us quite
a bit. Hannah didn't really seem to care
if we were there or no, but when we got
back she was like "Hey, I remember you! I
thought something was missing!" My mom
did great, but she is tired! She says, "I
know why young people have children and
old people don't!"
So, we had a blast! I will post some
pics!

I guess it is OK now. My step-dad said it
swelled up to nearly twice the size her
leg usually is. he made her elevate and
ice it. When we came home she says "look
what I can do" and starts jumping all over
the house. I was like "ummm, what are you
doing exactly?" She looked like she was
having an epileptic fit or something.
Then she says "My sting doesn't hurt
anymore!" Ohhhhh! I had kinda forgotten
about it. So yeah, she's OK but really
nervous about walking by our front steps.
That is where she has been nailed three
times so far this summer. The wasps were
subsequently evicted.
