Do I Look That Young? Posted: 08-07-07 13:08pm
I went with my four year old to the water
park a few days ago. Pretty brave
considering I just had a baby. I went down
a kiddie slide after my four year old and
a lady around 20 years old was waiting at
the bottom. She said, "Are you an adult?"
She later told me that the life guard told
her adults are not aloud to go on the
kiddie slides. I am almost 33 years old,
so I am wondering if I can still pass for
someone younger than 18 years old? That
really made my day:) It really bothered me
looking so young when I was in my early
20's but now, I love it!!!

You really do look young! If I didn't
already know how old you are I would
honestly guess that you were about 18 or
so!

That's funny. I look older than usual in
my avatar picture because I have bigger
cheeks due to pregnancy, which is a good
thing! My face is usually skinner that
makes me look even younger. I didn't know
I could pass for that young, though.
Perhaps I should go on dateline and catch
some predators.
Even when my sister was 14 and I was 21,
people thought she was the older sister.
Grown men would drool at her and I was
ready to kick some butt! What pervs!!
Looking young doesn't help working in the
schools. About 1/4th of the parents who
meet me ask for my age or make some
comment about me looking so young. Some of
the parents making those comments are
younger than me, too. I have succumbed to
wearing suits in order to look older. They
are not becoming on me but oh well.

Ugh! I get ID'd all the time! Yes, you
do look young. I remember getting dirty
looks from disapproving middla aged women
when i was pregnant with both my kids. I
suppose some day i will be happy about
it....maybe!
