It sounds like you're taking the opinions
and preferences of some people and
applying them to everyone. That's just
not the way it works though. People are
all rather different from one another.
Some people remove the hair on the edges,
while other people remove all the hair.
Some people just remove pubic hair, while
others remove hair from around the anus as
well. Some people do it at home, other
people have it professionally done. Some
people leave the hair all natural without
removing any of it at all, other people
just trim it a bit.
It's about personal preference. It's all
up to you. There's nothing gross about
any of it. If you and your fiance are
fine with things the way they are, then
why bother worrying about what other
people do?
Personally, I don't remove any body hair,
not even a trim. None of my sexual
partners or ob-gyns have complained yet.

And if they did complain, guess what, they
wouldn't be my sexual partners or ob-gyns
anymore

because I am not out to impress anyone. I
am going to stick with doing what I am
comfortable doing. It's my body, not
theirs.
