"Current medical status: i have a sharp pain in the left hand side of my body which hurts when i breath and when i let of gas out of my mouth and sometimes when i move. it feels like someone is stabbing me with a knife and i am in alot of pain with it.

Current medical treatment: i have been using nurofen gel for the past 3 days and nothing has changed."

It is hard to say exactly what is causing the sharp pain that you describe. You can request an ECG and ab X-ray image of the chest to exclude possible lung, heart or bone disorders. At your age, however, anxiety is also frequent reason for such pains. You can consult your GP about for an expert opinion and advice.
