Do I Suffer From Sleep Apnea? Posted: 08-10-07 01:57am
I've had several times where I'm sleeping
and then I dream that I'm swimming under
water and then I start to drown, and then
my actual body just stops breathing. It
causes me to wake up and immediatly take a
giant deep breath. Is that sleep apnea?

Sorry, I have just come across this and I
wonder if you ever discovered what was
causing your sleep starts. It could be
apnea but only a sleep study could tell
you for sure. You need to ask your doctor
for a referral for that.
It could also be caused by stress.
I am curious to know if you did
investigate it further as I have the same
symptoms!
