Feel Unwell For 5 Minutes When Come Out Bath Posted: 08-10-07 14:20pm


Everytime I have a hot bath, then as soon as I step foot out of it, I feel really unwell, as if I need to be sick. I feel really weak, and the need to be sick and sometimes I also get a sore head. The sickness seems to go away after 5 minutes, the weakness seems to go away shortly/moderate after the sickness goes away. I'v also got constant pain in my lower abdomen, prostate maybe? Im a 19 male. What's wrong with me?

i think you should go to a doctor----- how often does this happen? everytime or just sometimes only with hot water>

It happens all the time I step out the bath. I used to have showers all the time, so didn't really notice it when coming out. But I moved house and there's only a bath. Once I get out the hot bath I feel really week and unwell, so it may have been going on for a while (while I was never having baths). I duno

are you allergic to anything? there could be something there as its a new place. Still pleas do get checked out. this worries me.

It actually sounds like it's due to the heat, and blood loss to your brain when you stand UP from the hot bath. That's why you didn't notice this in showers, because your head stayed at the same level. My suggestion is twofold: take cooler baths, and stand up slowly.

thanks for you're comments, I will be tryin to make the bath a little cooler and get out steadily. Also still going to the doctors tho as I have lower abdominal pain

The two are probably unrelated, unless it's a circulatory issue.
