I am so sorry, I had the same thing happen to me a few months ago. I had several positive pregnancy tests and my HCG was rising, but slowly. They couldn't find anything inutero or in my tubes but treated as if it were ectopic just in case. The Dr said he thought it was probably placental tissue that was producing the hormone but no baby however since they couldn't find anything and since my HCG was rising abnormal I had to have an injection of methotrexate just in case it was ectopic. I wasn't in any pain either, I did however have spotting but I think that was unrelated because I am now pregnant with a confirmed heart beat and I had spotting early on with this pregnancy too but it is perfectly normal. Once again I am really sorry I just went through the same thing only a few months ago.

Are you HCGs doubling like they should? Normally they can't see anything inutero until your HCGs are at least 1500.
