About Taking Birth Control -need Medical Advice. Posted: 03-17-04 01:26am
Hi, I been taking birth control for about
2 years and recently they switched me to a
more generic brand. (there are seven
green pills in the middle and a circle of
the white and blue pills around it.) when
I started taking it, instead of starting
on the first 7 white pills, I started on
the blue (the middle of the pack). So
now i'm left with 7 white pills(beginning)
and 7 green pills(the end of the pack).
Should I take the green pills and keep it
in order and just be on the white 7 extra
days when I start a new pack? Or should
I take the white, then the green, then
start the white on a new pack?
I know this sounds confusing, but if
someone knows... Please help me. Lol.

Take the green ones, throw away the white
ones that you skipped(why did u do that?)
and then start your new pack... You have
to take them in order or you will confuse
the heck out of your body. There are
different levels of hormones in each of
those different colors that are made
specifically for certain times of your
cycle. You need to take them in the
order that they are meant to be taken. I

I said that it was an accident b/c they
gave me a strange looking new pill box (i
explained above)... And I said I wasn't
really looking at it, and I took the blue
ones.
Anyway, I already know about what the
pills do and their hormones...
Just needed info on which to take first.
