I think you should go to a doctor. It does seem stress related, and it may be an over-all health issue: you may not be leading a healthy, fit life. A doctor can help get you on the right path. Living an unhealthy life can make you lethargic, have headaches, make you apathetic, have a low sex drive, and cause pain.

Get the right amount of sleep. I know personally what too much sleep can do. Yes, too much sleep! I get a headache all day long if I sleep too much. I feel tired and listless, even though I slept all night. People need anywhere from 6-9 hours of sleep. If you're getting too much or too little it can adversely affect you.

Vitamins. Vitamins are very important, and if you're not eating a well-balanced diet, then you're missing out. Before taking any vitamins, I again suggest talking to a doctor.

Exercise. Even if it's just a ten minute walk each day, get active! Promote blood flow and cardiovascular activity.

Eat breakfast. It jump starts your metabolism so you actually burn more calories in a day by eating breakfast than you do if you skip it. Secondly, it helps to turn on your brain, giving it energy to think. Your body also gets energy to carry you through the day.

Eat healthy. This is probably the hardest thing to do in today's world. But, it is possible. If a salad is available, eat it. Most people don't get enough vegetables anyway, so it doesn't matter if there's meat and dressing smothering it. We're not trying to lose weight here, we're trying to eat our veggies! Subs are great as well, and they're a spiffy place to hide veggies and fruit. I honestly believe that it's better to eat broccoli smothered in cheese than no broccoli at all.

I'm voting for a hormone imbalance.

Thyroid conditions and or reproductive hormone imbalances can cause moodiness, lethargy, lack of sex drive, depression, etc.

Or, if we're going there, you should get screened for depression, which can also cause all of the above.

Talk to a doctor! You don't have to be miserable.

I've been undergoing testing for years for similar symptoms, along with a ton more.
The first things all my doctors suggested was depression. This is not the case for me, but believe me, they will suggest it, and it's something to look into.
I was finally diagnosed with fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome, but my doctors are still testing so I'm not sure how confident they are in their diagnosis.

Just a few things that were brought up as possible causes for fatigue, naseau, foggy thinking, achiness, etc, etc, were a thyroid disorder, Lyme disease, B12 deficiency, anemia...

There are so many things that could be the cause of what you're feeling. I would defiitely agree with the suggestion to go to a doctor. It might help to keep a journal of how you feel every day for a while, and write down all your symptoms, etc. I didn't do this at first and I would constantly forget to tell my doctor about things.

Good luck!

If you don't mind me asking, why'd you stop taking your anti-depressants? If they were making you feel better, that seems like a good reason to keep taking them, and you seem like you need them now.

Any stories about terrorist psychiatrists? Maybe safer to go to one of them... Wink

Many people feel depression symptoms lifting when they're on the meds, so they stop. But then the symptoms come back eventually, and even if you're feeling better, the symptoms you described are definitely symptoms of depression.

Why stop if it's working?? Depression is a chronic illness. It doesn't get cured. You may feel better temporarily, but there's always the chance that it will come back.

I'm slightly educated about mental health issues, and I know this happens quite often. You really have to keep taking them!! Not to mention lots of anti-depressants have nasty withdrawal...

Anyway, a good psychiatrist or psychologist should be able to help you feel more yourself. I wish you the best.
