Q: Early Labor

Let me just preface this by saying i am really grouchy right now so hopfeully I don't sound too mean Smile

Yesterday my contractions were 2-3 minutes apart so I called the dr and she said to come in. Well, I get there (mind you these contractions hurt like heck) and I have had no cervical change at all! I was so mad. I had been dealing with ctx for what seemed like forever and they hurt really bad and were really long. I had figured that there would've been some change.

So they hook me up to the monitor and see that I am having some pretty intense ctx. I coud've told them that. They then made me walk for like an hour (super boring and painful) and then they checked me again. Not enough change to be able to keep me there. AAAAAAAAAAAHHHH, by then I wanted to scream because I am in pain and I was sorta hoping that since I am dilated a little that they would at least maybe give me something to put me into heavier labor. That was a no go because they said they can't admit me until I am at least 3 cm. Sad

They have decided I am in early labor and that the baby will almost defnitely be here within the next few days but still..... I wanted him last night!

I am still having ouch contractions but they are now 6 minutes apart. Maybe these ones will do something because I need to dilate BAD. Dan is taking me to a doc appointment today and we are going to walk the mall before we go. Maybe whenever she checks me there will be some change Smile Wouldn't that be nice.

Thanks for reading my post. It was sorta a vent update type thingie.

Update- I am still sitting at home waiting through these contractions to get stronger. They are 2 minutes apart and very consistent but not strong enough for me to go in. This is irritating! I want to have him soon but it seems like this early labor is taking awhile Sad

Oh, and I did have change at my appointment just not that much.

Nope, still in what the doctors are still calling early labor. At least they aren't saying it's false labor Smile

I am wishing they would just give me something to get it stronger.

I do think that something is going on though because I am having allot of bloody show (it's coming out in pieces) and even though they are now further apart they are stronger.

We will see what happens. My husband has been taking a few days off to work to be home but now that nothing is happening he is going back tomorrow. Watch, I will have him then Rolling Eyes

I am getting very anxious but I am starting to feel like a watched pot. My husband will look at me during a contraction and get this look in his eyes like he is wondering if it is doing anything. I think I will be happy to be home alone.

It would be really nice if active labor starts tonight.

My brother and also my brother in law and sister in law are all going back to their colleges soon and I would love to have him so that they can see him.

If my in laws don't see him before they leave for school they won't have a chance to see him again until the holidays! My brother only goes to school one state over so I know that he will get to see him.
