My baby girl is mulatto. How dark she will become ? Posted: 08-13-07 19:59pm
I have a question for anyone who knows?
I'm a white women and I have a 5 month old
baby girl that is mulatto. Her father is
very dark, he is from Africa. My girl was
very lite when she was born, but everyone
tell's me that she is going to become very
dark. So I was just wondering if that is
true. My doctor said that she would get a
little darker and she did, but I just
wanted to know if what people are saying
is true. To me it doesn't matter because
she is so adorable but I was curious. And
you know some people are so racist and
mean.

There's really no way to know how dark
she'll get. I think she's blessed with
mixed skin; it's so beautiful!

Hi, it is really something that cannot be
determined beforehand. I think you are
just going to have to wait and see.
The darkness depends on the melatonin, and
how much of it she has. Chances are, she
will get a bit darker (how much?..I don't
know) because of the melatonin in her
body, and exposure to light.
They ARE so cute...
Susie.

Thank you so much for answering my
question. I just found this site and it's
great. Everyone tell me something else
about the baby getting darker but I don't
think so and I don't really care I will
love her the same. She's the best thing
that happened to me. Thanks again girls
that was very nice of you.
