Yeah?
I have been thinking about this too. How
long have you wanted to be a surrogate? I
know you should give it a lot of thought
first, but how long?
I told my parents and sister 2 weeks ago I
would like to be a surrogate - for a gay
couple. Probably wasnt a good idea to tell
them until im 100 % certain, because they
are quite religious and uhm well my dad
walked out the room

it will be the other couples egg and sperm
and i will just carry the child for them.
i am getting sent a list of potential
couples and i don't have a clue how i am
going to pick between them

I thought about doing that before I had
Chu but they only accept women who've
successfully given birth before. Now that
I have gone through pregnancy and birth I
don't think that I could be a surrogate
because I don't think that I'd be able to
handle giving the baby to someone else
even though the child isn't biologically
mine. Kudos to you for being able to do
it. The world needs more people like you.

Yeah. Might be easier with another couples
egg not your own. If I do it for a gay
couple obviously they wont have any so
instead of having to use a donor egg, I
would want them to use mine. I cant do it
yet even if I fully decided to because im
on medication for depression and anxiety.
I think you have to stop those meds during
any pregnancies? Let us know how
everything goes

Please don't jump all over me for saying
this ~ but I hope there will be counseling
included in the surrogate contract. I know
giving a child away, even if it isn't
your child, is going to be
incredibly difficult no matter what anyone
says. Sure, it might seem like something
noble to do, but noble and feelings when
it comes time to hand over an infant you
carried and gave birth to, are two
completely different things.

Your stronger than i am. I don't know if i
could do that. I would be way to attached
to the baby Good luck
though, and that is really cool you are
doing that for someone. I hope it goes
well for you
